Real Talk ~ June 17, 2020

Hi Everyone!

I’m happy to report that I’m starting to feel better each day… finally! Thanks for all the well wishes, support and love while I faced a few months of health challenges. You all helped me through it with your kind words and it definitely put a big smile on my face!

For those asking about my book, my ghost writer (also a newly friend) and I just started up again doing the rough drafts for it. I’m not sure how long it will take to write or get it published but I’ll keep you posted! I do know that I don’t want to rush putting my book out there because it’s my life. I feel that there were so many life obstacles, pivot points and lessons in my story that I know some of you can relate too. So with that being said, I definitely want to convey my story as accurately as I can.

I’m letting my guard down, allowing people to see the ‘real’ me. I chose to do this knowing that my life will be on display for anyone to learn from, empathize with and yes… possibly judge. But I’ll tell you this, I have no regrets, no shame or fear of my story. If my life wasn’t filled with all of these challenging situations I wouldn’t be who I am today. A stronger, kinder, wiser and open-minded person.

Now on that note, let me share a little of my past with you. I found these pictures on the Internet so forgive the quality of them. By the way, let me be clear… I’m sharing these pictures with no intent for attention. I’m sharing them because the girl in these pictures is a part of my life story. Not to mention, I know this girl in these pictures is not the woman I am today. If I can’t embrace my past, then I might as well never tell my story.

Hugz & Kisses,

Your expressions are intriguing. I believe I see a hardening over the years as you experience your life choices.
What I find heart warming ie that if I compare your current pictures with your very earliest pictures, the softness is back the sweet yet mischievous girl is back. Wonderful you!
